Adjule (SciiFii)

The restoration of the adjule from an artist.

The adjule (Lycaon dirus) is a species of canid that originally did not exist, but has since been created by SciiFii and introduced to the open grasslands and savannas across Africa and Asia to help boost biodiversity. They resemble an African wild dog, but with melanism (black) fur, with a hunchback like a hyena, and retractable cat-like claws. They prey on deer, wild pigs, antelopes, zebras, rabbucks, wildebeests, etc. The conservation status of the adjule is Endangered due to some habitat loss and historical poaching, however, thanks to conservationists, the adjule is now a protected species and its population is slowly recovering.
