A Buffy the Vampire Slayer's werewolf (Lycius Deinodontus), also known as a Buffy's werewolf, is a species of werewolf that originated from an American supernatural drama television series created by Joss Whedon, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and an American television series (and its spin-off), Angel.
It's a large wolf-like carnivorous bipedal canine that fills a similar role/niche to native real life wolves. They are usually normal human-like beings during the day but becomes large carnivorous species by night (not just full moon as these full moon times are usually when werewolves of any species are easiest to be seen by diurnal species). They are currently found in Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series and Angel TV series, as well as in real life North America and continental Europe.
