A Jack's giant wombat is an animal that evolved from a prehistoric diprotodon that survived and remained mostly unchanged. It inhabits woodlands and grasslands of Eastern, Southeastern, Southern, Central, Southwestern, and Western Australia. It is a herbivore, feeding on nothing but leaves, berries, shrubs, and grass. It is the largest marsupial on earth, about the size of a small car. It is now also tolerating human activities and adapting to all kinds of human settlements.
