Jiangshi (Homopteryx Deinodontus Jiangshietus), aka Chines vampire or Chinese hopping vampire, is a subspecies of vampire that originated from Chinese mythologies. Unlike other vampire subspecies, their legs are too stiff to run or walk, instead they move around by hopping, hence their name Chinese hopping vampires. They are not considered evil, unlike any other vampire subspecies, due to that they rarely hunt humans (which is there only food source along with domestic/wild goats) and never hunt for fun, only hunting to surive and only as often as 1 year, but sometimes they can survive 2 years without feeding on blood. Unlike in myths, they do not turn their victims into their own kind. They are not affected by any sort of religious artifacts.
