Shatterdomes are the primary headquarters of the Pan Pacific Defense Corps (and also used later by the International Treaty Organization of Sapient Species) and factories for the construction, repair and maintenance of various experimental weapons, vehicles, ships, aircrafts, and armors (e.g. Jaegers). All operations, training and experiments regarding the vampires and dragons are carried out within their respective Shatterdome bases.
