A vampire-toothed Maverick Hunter is a modified subspecies of Maverick Hunter that was bred by the earlier homo sapiens through genetic engineering in 1979 for wars that were common during that time, but eventually, these Maverick Hunters were getting tired and hated wars so these Maverick Hunters now live in peace with many sapient beings, including humans. They were also bred to fool true vampires, believing that vampire-toothed Maverick Hunters are also vampires (but is actually a disguise so these Maverick Hunters could get close enough and kill vampires). Like many advanced sapient species, they are 5% smarter than humans, making them among the smartest beings on earth. They can also build 8% more advanced tech than humans, have more advanced culture, etc. They are omnivores, feeding on the same food as all other Maverick Hunters. They are about the same size as all other Maverick Hunters.
